ageing treatments are headed?
It’s an instant world now and everyone wants results quickly. They also don’t want scars and prefer to be able to go back to work immediately, that’s why non-invasive treatments are becoming very popular.
invasive facial rejuvenation, what
are some of the popular
treatments at your clinic?
My Woffles Lift, which is celebrating its 10th
anniversary this year, is still one of the top
procedures at my clinic. My patients prefer this
to an actual facelift which requires them to be
cut up. The results are great and they just have
to do it every two or three years to maintain their
look. Another popular anti-ageing treatment is the Indiba Therapy. This is a monopolar
radiofrequency device that generates heat
internally to precisely target skin to tighten it
up. It improves skin elasticity and
water retention, resulting in a
rejuvenated, supple and soft skin.
As the skin regenerates collagen, it
will also decrease pore size and the depth of acne
scars. I have patients who love Indiba Therapy and
have been doing it for years!
tell us more about this innovative technology?
I’ve been using Indiba since 2003 and have two machines in my clinic. I was introduced to it by my friend in Japan. Indiba Therapy is a very popular procedure in Europe, Japan and Korea. Interestingly, Indiba actually started out as a health machine to soothe aches, sprains, joint disorders and back pain with its thermal therapy. Thanks to its good results, safe and non-invasive procedure, it is now very popular for aesthetic purposes, besides pain management and physiotherapy.
Indiba is also very effective in treating cellulite as the heat breaks up the fibrous tissues that cause the skin dimpling condition. At my clinic, we use a proprietary technique designed by me to treat the buttocks and thighs to decrease its cellulitic appearance. I also use Indiba as a post-treatment for my liposuction patients to firm their skin.
