What to expect during treatment:

My consultant asked me questions about my lifestyle, family history, if I smoked, and whether I had gone for other hair treatments before. After examining and scanning my scalp, I was told that I had an oily scalp and that my pores are blocked. The blockages inhibited new hair growth, and is the cause of my hair loss problem.

My customised treatment was aimed at removing oil from my scalp and nourishing my hair with tonic. After washing my hair, my therapist applied a speciallyformulated herbal cleansing essence, wrapped my head in a towel and let me sit under a steaming machine for 20 minutes to allow the nutrients to penetrate into the roots of my hair. Then, I was given a head massage before my hair was given another wash and blow-dried. My consultant advised me to use clay instead of hair gel to style my hair as it is made of wax and will not block the pores on my scalp. My second scalp scan showed that my pores had opened up. This means that my hair follicles can now “breathe” and that will strengthen baby hair and encourage new hair growth.

This is dependent on the customer’s hair and scalp condition but three to five monthly treatments are usually recommended for best results.
